Autumn just busy, busy, busy!!!

Autumn has been so busy working with brilliant people and at great venues!! September, I performed at the 25th Anniversary of Notts County's Lifeline Charity Dinner. It was a great experience and one that I was proud to be apart of. Lifeline has played a major part in keeping the worlds oldest club alive and kicking over the last 25 years. I also have to say all of the staff are great to work with and it is a pleasure to be associated with the club in this way!

October I worked with Amy from gem106fm as we supported the Exchange Fashion show under the clock at the Nottingham Council House. It was great to see that all of the models who did the catwalk show were the supervisors from all of the shops in the Exchange, and a great job they did too!!

Early November took me down to London to play at the world famous Cafe De Paris, in Covent Garden. (www.cafedeparis.com) I was asked to come down buy the lovely Georgie from Addoastra Events (www.addoastra.com) to support the well known Hope For Children charity www.hope-for-children.org. Well, what Georgie didn't tell me was that also attending would be Lulu, Hello Magazine and The Mail. (didn't get nervous at all! think I'm telling porky's!) And playing after me was Radio 1 DJ and TV presenter Edith Bowman. OK, now I was really out of my comfort zone as I was then asked to MC the evening, well after a couple of nervous stumbles the night got on the way and it was FANTASTIC!!!! All went well and the evening raised a substantial amount of money for Hope. CHECK THIS OUT I'm laying on a bed singing along with Lulu, guests and the Addoastra team! http://vimeo.com/31723181 Congratulations to everyone who attended and supported such a worthy charity!

I then shot up the M1 and into the peak district to perform for C.W. Sellors Fine Jewelers (www.cwsellors.com) who held their Christmas Wishes Showcase at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire. What a great setting. There was Santa and his Elves, Lotus GB Formula 1 raising money for NSPCC, it was amazing! I've never been around so much quality jewelry in my life. Hope I get booked next year?

Hart's restaurant was the next destination; performing with brilliant musicians Mike Gowland, Tony Foster and Lewis Mace an UNPLUGGED Jazz and Blues show. It went down a storm and everyone enjoyed their evening. As our Mrs Shaw (Hart's UPS Manager) said "I was scared to bring out the coffee incase I made to much noise, you could here a pin drop" Keep checking my gig diary as I'm sure we will be playing this gig again?

Recording is getting back on track for my new album. However, it saddens me to say that Mike Gowland my MD is now emigrating to Australia to start his new life with his wonderful family. I will miss him immensely, but I know we will meet up again and I wish them all the very best!
