Where did June go?

One was my friends daughter’s wedding and I must say his speech was one of the best I have ever heard. Then in the evening he danced with his daughter, a real ‘Father Of The Bride’ moment! (and yes it did bring a tear to my eye)

Well, the other was very different indeed, as it was in my other friends newly purchased plot of land. (Think ‘The Good Life’ Richard Briars and Felicity Kendal, then you’ve got the picture!) I was all suited and booted; (at my friend’s instruction) there were dogs, hens and geese running all over the place. (Not forgetting his guests) A real Ealing comedy moment!

OK and now for the serious stuff!

I’ve just been asked by the Lace Market Hotel to perform a real laid back lounge set in their restaurant on Friday 11^th November, this will be a solo performance, but one I’m looking forward to very much! More details will follow, so please just keep checking my gig page.

 The new album is coming along nicely and recording is due to start in the next few weeks. (CAN’T WAIT!!) It’s been a great learning curve working with real professional musicians; the only analogy I can use is, like watching an Artist with a blank canvas painting a landscape, watching them put down the base colours and then seeing tree’s, hills, valleys buildings being brought to life. I hope you get the picture? (Sorry having an Artistic moment)   

As some of you know I can go on and on, so I’m going to leave it here and I will hopefully update this page with some more news in August.
